military personnel and members of their families
Since 2014, Ukraine has been living in war. However, after the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine that started on February 24th, 2022, almost every Ukrainian family faced the challenge to defend the Motherland. Someone's father or mother, son or daughter, brother or sister, best friend or work colleague joined the ranks of the army.

In connection with the increase in the number of military personnel and the circumstances of wartime, the need for assistance to the families of Ukrainian defenders has significantly increased.

In these conditions, in response to the request of the Main Directorate for Moral and Psychological Support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Psychosocial support service for families of military personnel was created by the CIVIL ORGANIZATION PUBLIC MOVEMENT FOR EMPOWERING WOMEN IN UKRAINE. A free hotline for the families of military personnel is an essential part of the project.

The hotline works with the financial support of the European Union. Its content is the exclusive responsibility of the CIVIL ORGANIZATION PUBLIC MOVEMENT FOR EMPOWERING WOMEN IN UKRAINE and does not necessarily reflect the views of the European Union.

From May to October 2023, the hotline will be operated within the framework of the Stiykist’ Programme - the project funded by the European Union and implemented by Equal Rights and Independent Media (ERIM) in partnership with the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation, the East Europe Foundation, Human Rights House Foundation, and Human Rights House Tbilisi. The project is aimed to strengthen civil society organizations (CSOs) and individual activists affected by the war in Ukraine, including independent media and human rights defenders.

From June to December 2022, the hotline was operated within the framework of the «EU Emergency Support 4 Civil Society» project, which is being implemented by ISAR «Ednannia» with the financial support of the European Union. Its content is the exclusive responsibility of the CIVIL ORGANIZATION PUBLIC MOVEMENT FOR EMPOWERING WOMEN IN UKRAINE and does not necessarily reflect the position of the European Union.
